Has anyone heard if they are going to make a complete set of the english dub dvds for this series? I know they have one out it japan now, but i've read the subtitles are really bad.
They have released complete sets of animes like trigun, cowboy bebop and lain that generally only cost about 30 bucks. Let me know if anyone hears about this type of set for .hack sign.

Sun, February 1, 2004 - 11:51 AMI have no clue, right now I have two of them because I bought the first two games. Since they have released all the four games now and each indivual DVD is released, I would assume that they would release them together as a set.

Sun, February 8, 2004 - 11:17 AMWell, both. You see the actual DVDs that come with the game that tell the story from the real world prespective. Each game comes with one DVD of the series. So I won't buy that box set, since I will the DVDs that make it up anyway.
That is unless you are talking about the Dot Hack//sign Series, then I will buy it because I really like the series. -

Wed, February 11, 2004 - 8:29 AMYeah, the episodes that come with the games are a special OVA that tells the story from a different perspective. The Series is a prelude to the games. ^_^ As far as I know there are only 5 DVDs out, with maybe one more on the way. I'll have to check my old issue of newtype to be sure. There aren't many episodes in //Sign, and only 4 in the OVA.
DotHack Legend of the Twilight takes place AFTER the video games, just in case you didn't know. ^_^ -

There's a game coming out called True Fantasy Live Online; it's a MMORPG, and it reminds me a lot of DotHack. ^_^ Check it out! I am soooo gonna have that game.
