So I guess everyone has lost interest in .hack since the last post in here was in May? Not to be too much of a self-promoting whore, but how about a series of games and sequels that can actually stand on their own as separate games (as opposed to .hack, which really should have just been ONE game). Xenosaga II just recently came out and I've started a tribe about the series at http://xenosaga.tribe.net

the petition is for the creation of a dothack online game for pc and mac the site name is the.hack//onlinegame spread the word to all your freinds and their freinds the gaol is 5550 it is at 1654 their is 2 petitions it dont matter which one you sign there both the same well spread the word

If you havent already heard there is going to be a new installment of the dot hack series. Its a 3 part chapter... so far all i know is that it takes place 7 years after outbreak.

The webpage is loaded, all you see is a house.
You click on the front door, and the following options appear:
Log in (members entry)
Have a look around (Guest entry)

Log in:
Directly through the front door is the Entrance.
In the Entrance you shall find a Notice Board, a poster of the House Rules, and a Suggestions Box.
Also, There will be a Visitor's Logbook.
(Still gathering Ideas on where/how users may introduce themselves.)

From the Entrance, you can make your way around the house, into the many rooms.
E.g. Going through the doorway on the entrance's right, you will find yourself in the Kitchen.

In the Kitchen,
you may click on the fride, and begin discussing foods, diets, daily meals...
or, you may click on the Recipe Cabinet, where you may share your secret family recipes with everyone.
or, you may click on the Bar, and tell us all your drink of choice.

Yesterday I needed some help with Dot Hack 2, and I dug and dug and it took me a long time to find just a tiny scrap of useful iinformation. And when I did it wasn't that useful. While I was able to complete the section I needed on my own, I thought why not start a topic where gamers can get help when their stuck?

Of course this section needs a disclaimer, don't read anymore if you don't want to spoil the experience.

(Kite and Blackrose gate into The World)

Kite: Blackrose I don't care how much money you have Iam not going to kiss your feet, who knows where they been!.

Blackrose: Aww come on it is just for one day. I want to make this b*tch mimiru learn that I can make anyone bow b4 me.

Kite: Damn it, I said no! <notices Elk>

Kite: Oh hey Elk what are you doing here?

Elk: Mia...why Mia..I thought it was suppose to be us.

(Blackrose and Kite)???

Blackrose: Are you still drooling over that cat? Look Elk you need a real girl in your life. You need to see a real body.
(little by little Blackrose sheds her clothing, everyone in Mac Anu glare at the naked girl at Choas Gate.) You see this is a real female body.

Kite: BLACKROSE!? PUT YOUR CLOTHES BACK ON..WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING? NO ONE USED CHARM ON YOU!!!

BlackRose: (holds Elk's hands and places them on her chest. Elk looks away as if he doesnt notice.)

Blackrose: You see this is a female body.

Elk: Uhh

Blackrose: It is ok Elk you probably never felt cyber flesh like this. Say what is on your mind.

Elk: Well...Mia has much bigger and firmer muffins than yours.

Blackrose: O.O

Blackrose: YOU JERK!!! < without hesitation she clenches her fist and uppercuts Elk. Knocking him into the Mac Anu river.>

Blackrose: Who does he think he is, I got good ones right Kite? <stands in front of him with her hands on her hips.>

Kite: well I umm....

Blackrose: <she places his hand on her chest> come on these are great right?

Kite: Well these are good. :-)

Blackrose: You see that idiot wavemaster rather be with an animal than someone like me.

Kite: <mumbles> Helba's are 5x better than yours.

Blackrose: (-_-) What was that?

Kite: I said, maybe I should do my choirs. :-)

Blackrose: Oh no your not...

Blackrose: what you all looking at?

Kite: you havent put your clothes back on

Blackrose: oops <graps her things and quickly changes behind Kite>

Mimiru: well it looks like you turned out to be the first hooker in The World.

Blackrose: <pulls out her racket>

Mimiru: <pulls out her bat>

Kite: so, Bear is it..who do you think will win?

Bear: hard to say..these girls are both hot headed..if anything they will tire out.

Mimiru: skanky, skanky, skanky, skanky!!!

Blackrose: you idoit we cant fight here..lets go to
Forbiddin Holyground

Mimiru: Bear!
Blackrose: Kite!

Kite and Bear: yes mame!

<they four travel to the area where they begin there battle>

(Mimiru charges for blackrose with her bat in hand, blackrose holds her racket up as a shield to block Mimiru's attack. Mimiru swings her bat as if she was hitting a homerun ball, the force breaks Blackrose racket and knocks her a few feet in the air. She plumets to the ground making a crater on impact.)

Blackrose health is down to 1 and dizzy (@_@)

Kite: wow that was quick

Mimiru: YAH!! I WON

Helba: umm interesting...Lets see how they fair against this.

< with a spin of her staff she turned the "southpark" like creations into .hack//sign and game character designs. (I know helba doesnt have power like that but use your imaginations.) Mimiru now holds a sword in hand and Blackrose crawls out of the crater using her sword as a cane.>

Helba: I cant hold these chracter designs for long so, let the fun begin.

Mimiru: With your health down to 1 you have no chance on defeating the greatest Heavyblade ever.

< at a distance she hears "Pha Repth" she turns and sees Kite casting a heal spell on Blackrose. Bear walks away knowing the consequences of this fight. >

Mimiru: you lap dog... DIE!
< she runs toward Kite, who was nearly completing the healing spell. She jumps high in the air and swings her blade down furiously, Kite has no time to block and he didnt want to Data Drain her. Suddenly a strange figure stands in front of Kite blocking Mimiru's attack. It was Blackrose with blade in hand.
Mimiru flips back a few feet.

Blackrose: Thanks Kite I owe you one
Kite: no we are even..Now get this 8itch.
Blackrose: OK
Kite: Here we go, HeavyBlade Battle royale!
Blackrose: READY! <charges towards Mimiru>
Mimiru: GO! <charges towards Blackrose>

< the two swing their blades, all that heard was a loud CLANG when the two swords hit each other and a bright light from the impact. >

Who survived?

So Expensive

How can such a commercialy whored franchise be sooo good =(

I'm normally not one for bells and whistles that are often tied to shows/movies/games but damn .hack is just so good it makes it hard to not want to get into the whole immersion of the franchise. I've watched downloaded subs of the entire .hack//sign series, and If I can find it cheap enough I'd like to pick up the dvds (dub or sub).

Being an avid MMORPG and Anime fan this series just fits me so well.

I've currently got .hack//infection and //mutation on ps2 and plan on getting the other 2 when they come down in price.

Has anyone heard if they are going to make a complete set of the english dub dvds for this series? I know they have one out it japan now, but i've read the subtitles are really bad.

They have released complete sets of animes like trigun, cowboy bebop and lain that generally only cost about 30 bucks. Let me know if anyone hears about this type of set for .hack sign.
